Overgang Takuma Sato naar RLLR afgerond

Takuma Sato keert officieel terug naar het team van Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. De Japanner reed dit jaar voor Andretti Autosport, maar die samenwerking bleef ondanks winst in de Indy 500 beperkt tot één seizoen. Sato kwam eerder in 2012 al uit voor Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.

"Ik ben extreem blij om terug te zijn bij Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. Bobby, Dave en Mike hebben me altijd gesteund. Het team is de voorbije seizoenen ultra competitief geweest. Ik kan niet wachten om in 2018 weer onderdeel uit te maken van die organisatie. Ik denk dat we samen geweldige dingen kunnen bereiken!", aldus Sato.
