Power over de rooie: "Grosjean verdient beuk in gezicht"

He needs a punch in the face. Dat foeterde regerend IndyCar-kampioen Will Power over collega Romain Grosjean. Na afloop liep van een teleurstellende kwalificatie op Road America zei de Penske-rijder dat voor de microfoon van de NBC over een incident van een aantal uur eerder.

Wat was er gebeurd? In de tweede oefensessie van de Sonsio Grand Prix kwamen beide haantjes elkaar tegen op de baan. Power was rap onderweg en wilde Grosjean inhalen. Maar de voormalig F1-coureur wilde tijdens zijn stint de trackpositie niet opgeven en hield de deur dicht. Power moest in de ankers over uitwijken over het gras.

Tijdens de kwalificatie was ds Australiër nog steeds verbolgen erover. "Hij is een stuk stront als je kijkt wat hij deed in de vrije training. Hij verdient een beuk in het gezicht."

      Power is wat getikt... sloeg dixon na fp2 ook al bijna.

      In de vrije training was Power echt slachtoffer, dit was vooral onhandig.

      Power heeft echt z'n goede dagen, maar is voornamelijk een ongeleid projectiel. Vaak genoeg zorgt hij er met onhandige, onbezonnen acties voor dat hij er mensen aftikt.

      Gebrek aan snelheid wat gecompenseerd wordt met agressiviteit. Ik ben niet zo'n fan, ondanks zijn grote staat van dienst.

    Prachtige kerel die Will, net als Sato vaak betrokken bij "Banzai Aanvallen" !!! Eens kijken of hij vanavond Grosjean een koekje van eigen deeg geeft !

    Als je zo spreekt ben je zelf een stuk stront..memeer power moet nog leren racen..en zoveel haat om practise sessie..memeer piwers kan beter op de fiets rijden.
