De IndyCar racet zondagavond 18:30 uur Nederlandse tijd door de straten van Nashville tijdens de Big Machine Music City Grand Prix. Het circuit is 3.49 kilometer lang en kent elf bochten. Er kunnen topsnelheden worden behaald van 320 km/u.

De baan kenmerkt zich door de twee lange 'rechte' stukken over de brug 'Korean War Memorial Bridge', een herdenkingsmonument ter ere van alle omgekomen Amerikaanse soldaten in deze oorlog.

T leuke van Indycar is dat ze begrijpen waar het om gaat bij een stratenbaan... ook al voegen ze een compleet nieuwe toe.
