Ocon debuteert in Hongarije namens Comtec

Esteban Ocon maakt dit weekend een uitstapje naar de World Series by Renault. Op de Hungaroring bestuurt hij een van de wagens van Comtec Racing in de Formule Renault 3.5. De 17-jarige Fransman koerst in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3 af op de titel.

Ocon behoort tot de opleiding van Lotus F1 Team en heeft net als Max Verstappen veel indruk gemaakt in de Formule 3 dit jaar. Dit weekend rijdt hij aan de zijde van teamgenoot Cameron Twynham in de Formule Renault 3.5. Eind vorig jaar testte hij al eens voor Team Lotus Charouz.
