Williams gunt Susie Wolff dit jaar twee vrije trainingen

Susie Wolff is dit jaar opnieuw als test- en ontwikkelingscoureur aan Williams verbonden. De Schotse kan zich verheugen op twee vrije trainingen bij een Grand Prix in 2014. Williams contracteerde eerder Felipe Nasr als reserverijder, die ook vijf vrije trainingen voor zijn rekening zal nemen.

Wolff: "Ik ben dankbaar voor het vertrouwen en de steun die Williams in me heeft. 2014 belooft een mijlpaal voor mij te worden. Ik heb steeds meer verantwoordelijkheden binnen het team gekregen naarmate ik bewees op dit niveau thuis te horen. Dat resulteerde in een test in Silverstone en het verrichten van rechte lijn-tests vorig jaar. Twee vrije trainingen plus een volledige testdag is een volgende stap en ik kijk ernaar uit om tijdens een Grand Prix-weekend in de FW36 te kruipen."
