Magnussen vindt geruchten over toekomst vervelend

Renault-coureur Kevin Magnussen heeft laten weten de geruchten over zijn toekomst in de Formule 1 'vervelend' te vinden. De Deen keerde dit jaar terug in de Formule 1 na een jaar langs de zijlijn te hebben gezeten. Volgens geruchten rijden Sergio Perez en Esteban Ocon volgend jaar voor Renault in de Formule 1.

Magnussen laat het volgende weten over zijn positie binnen het team en de kansen voor volgend jaar: "Ik werk hard en ik lever goed werk. Ik maak me niet druk. In vergelijking met mijn teamgenoot ben ik de bovenliggende partij. Het is niet verkeerd dat er geruchten zijn, dat is normaal in deze tijd van het jaar. Ik heb eerder in onzekerheid gezeten. Het enige wat ik nu kan zeggen is er voor volgend jaar nog geen contracten zijn getekend."
