Marko reageert op Marshall-transfer: "Beste voor beide partijen"

Het team van Red Bull Racing verloor vorige week een belangrijk technisch kopstuk aan McLaren. De Britse renstal maakte bekend dat ze Rob Marshall overnemen van Red Bull. Marshall was jarenlang een belangrijke man bij de technische afdeling van Red Bull, maar Helmut Marko denkt dat de gevolgen van zijn vertrek klein zullen zijn.

Marshall werkte in totaal 17 jaar voor het team van Red Bull Racing. Hij vervulde meerdere functies binnen het team en was een belangrijke schakel op het technische vlak. Bij McLaren krijgt hij nu een prominente rol binnen de gereorganiseerde technische afdeling van het team. Marshall is momenteel met gardening leave en zal begin 2024 officieel van start gaan bij McLaren.

Red Bull-adviseur Helmut Marko baalde vanzelfsprekend eventjes van het vertrek van Marshall. Bij Red Bull staat men achter de keuze van Marshall en lijkt niemand hem deze stap te misgunnen. Ook Marko gunt het hem en de Oostenrijker spreekt zich uit bij Sky Sports Deutschland: "We zijn op een rustige manier uit elkaar gegaan. Het is een deal die voor beide partijen het beste is. Rob was 17 jaar lang heel erg belangrijk voor ons. We zijn echter een sterk bezet team dus zijn vertrek heeft geen grote nadelen voor ons. Ik denk zelfs geen."

en slechts 10% die likes prettig vinden en 90% zich eraan ergert.
De uitslagen van die poll hebben ze dus niets mee gedaan.

      Dat lijkt me een verkeerde conclusie @arone.

      Marshall werkte vanaf het begin bij RBPT. Hij verrichtte daar voortreffelijk werk, maar zoals je weet hebben ze daar veel zeer deskundige mensen binnengehaald die zijn werk over kunnen nemen. Uiteraard hadden ze hem liever behouden, maar hij wordt nu door deskundige mensen vervangen. Iedereen blij.

      Marshall zou wel eens onderdeel kunnen zijn van een motorendeal met Mclaren vanaf 2026.

      Ik vermoed dat Marshall een bovengemiddeld salaris verdiende bij Red Bull en zo'n fors salaris doet met een budgetcap natuurlijk wel extra pijn.
      Dus als ze daar nu afscheid van nemen en die positie goed kunnen opvangen met reeds bestaand personeel, dan is dat voor Red Bull helemaal geen slechte uitkomst.
      Integendeel, het kan dus zelfs een voordeel zijn.
      Minder kosten en geen kwaliteit inleveren.

      niet onder de BC van RBR.

    Al verschillende meldingen gedaan maar geen veranderingen.
    Het is hier een onoverzichtelijke bende geworden!

    Of blijf gewoon met je takken van de edit knop af als je niet weet hoe zoiets werkt.
    Deze websait gaat van kwaad tot erger lijkt wel.
    Is het putje al in zicht? Dan kunnen we doorspoelen.

    Ik begin serieus na te denken over een alternatief, want dat de bezoeke en de beleving hier niet wordt gewaardeerd en gerespecteerd is nu wel duidelijk.

      Was voor de Bühne om de gemoederen een beetje te sussen.
      Er wordt nu wel over aanpassingen gesproken, maar de vraag is of die doorgaan en hoe lang DAT weer gaat duren en of iedereen dan wèl tevreden is.
