Jaguar Racing heeft de line-up voor komend seizoen gepresenteerd. Mitch Evans en Adam Carroll zullen de twee racestoeltjes bemannen, terwijl het Britse merk een reserverol voor Ho-Pin Tung heeft ingeruimd. Panasonic heeft zich als titelsponsor aan het Formule E-team van Jaguar verbonden. De eerste auto van Jaguar luistert naar de naam I-Type.

Jaguar Land Rover-directeur Nick Rogers: "De komende vijf jaar zal de auto-industrie ingrijpender veranderen dan in de voorgaande drie decennia. Het Formule E-kampioenschap stelt ons in staat om onze geavanceerde technologieën onder uitdagende omstandigheden te testen. De kennis die we opdoen is van vitaal belang voor onze producten voor de 'echte wereld'. Bij Jaguar Land Rover staan 9.000 engineers in dienst en het Formule E-team zal daar uit kunnen putten."
