GP3 Series ontwikkelt auto bij test met kampioen Bottas

De organisatie van de GP3 Series heeft de hulp van regerend kampioen Valtteri Bottas ingeschakeld voor een test in Barcelona. De nadruk lag op ontwikkelingswerk aan de auto met het oog op de nieuwe wagen voor 2013. Bottas testte eerder deze week nog in de GP2 op Jerez.

De Fin vat de GP3-dag samen met: Het was leuk om ontwikkelingswerk te verrichten, dat is nieuw voor me. Tijdens de sessie was mijn mening heel belangrijk, aangezien de GP3-bolide volledig gebaseerd is op de coureur. Het doel van het ontwerp is om jonge rijders in staat te stellen om hun kwaliteiten tentoon te spreiden. We hebben ook aan de ontwikkeling van de Pirelli-banden gewerkt en we hebben wat oplossingen gevonden die de wagen moeilijker en leuker maken om te besturen. De GP3 wacht een mooie en interessante toekomst.
