Twee Chevrolet Cruzes voor Münnich Motorsport

Münnich Motorsport stapt voor 2014 over op Chevrolet Cruzes. De Duitse renstal betrad het World Touring Car Championship vorig jaar met drie Seat Leons, waarmee Rob Huff twee keer won. Voor komend seizoen heeft het team twee wagens, voor Rene Münnich en Gianni Morbidelli.

Münnich: "Ik ontving op het laatste moment het aanbod om twee Cruzes te kopen van RML en dat kon ik niet laten liggen. We zijn gretig om de ervaringen die we vorig jaar opgedaan hebben in de praktijk te brengen en we kijken erg uit naar het nieuwe seizoen."

Morbidelli: "Ik ben echt opgewonden over het vooruitzicht om terug te keren in het WTCC en samen te werken met Rene Münnich en zijn team. Ze hebben vorig jaar tijdens hun debuutseizoen in deze serie uitstekend gepresteerd."
