Oriola voor Aziatisch slotstuk terug bij Campos Racing

Pepe Oriola verschijnt eind dit seizoen toch op de grid in het World Touring Car Championship. De Spanjaard, die vorig jaar zijn eerste zege in het WTCC boekte, zal in Suzuka, Sjanghai en Macau een Seat Leon van Campos Racing besturen.

Tot die tijd fungeert hij als mentor voor John Filippi, de vaste rijder van Campos Racing. Ook zal Oriola de coureurs die voor Campos Racing in de European Touring Car Cup actief zijn van adviezen voorzien. "Hoewel ik diverse aanbiedingen heb ontvangen, wilde ik het WTCC niet de rug toekeren. Door deze overeenkomst kan ik in dit kampioenschap blijven en mijn ervaring aanspreken voor het team en de andere coureurs", aldus de Spanjaard.
