Norbert Nagy debuteert komend weekend in het World Touring Car Championship. De 19-jarige Hongaar zal in de Belgische Ardennen de Seat Leon van Campos Racing besturen. Hij was tot nu met een Chevrolet Cruze actief in het Europees Touring Car Championship.

Nagy: "Door versnellingsbakproblemen miste ik de ronde in het ETCC op de Salzburgring, maar ik was wel aanwezig en toen we hoorden dat Campos Racing wat technische problemen op moest lossen bood mijn team hulp aan. Als teken van dank vroeg Campos me om het volgende WTCC-evenement voor ze te racen. Dit is een geweldige mogelijkheid voor mij! Ik hoop veel nuttige ervaring op te doen zodat ik in de toekomst een fulltime stoeltje in het WTCC kan bemachtigen."
