Lada onthult nieuwe Vesta eind augustus

Lada presenteert eind augustus de nieuwe bolide voor het World Touring Car Championship. De Lada Vesta gaat vanaf september volgend jaar in productie en zal de Granta aflossen in het WTCC. De Russische autofabrikant onthult de wagen bij de internationale autoshow in Moskou.

Lada-president Bo Andersson: "Racen is de juiste aanpak voor Lada. We hebben veel fans en mensen die ons programma in de autosport steunen. Dat is belangrijk voor ons en we moeten successen behalen. De bezoekers van de Moskou Motor Show krijgen de kans om een blik te werpen op de nieuwe Lada Vesta, ontworpen om in de toekomst in het WTCC in te zetten."

Met de Granta zijn de resultaten dit jaar niet om over naar huis te schrijven. Rob Huff en Mikhail Kozlovsky bezorgden Lada met twee vijfde plaatsen de beste klassering van dit seizoen tot nu toe. James Thompson kan daar slechts twee punten tegenover zetten.
