Echevarria vervangt Di Sabatino in Termas de Rio Hondo

Camilo Echeverria debuteert komend weekend in het World Touring Car Champions. De Argentijn neemt voor de races in eigen land op het circuit van Termas de Rio Hondo de BMW 320 TC van Pasquale di Sabatino bij het Liqui Moly Team Engstler over.

Echevarria: "Ik ben heel blij met deze kans om het WTCC te racen in eigen land. Ik ben zeer gemotiveerd na mijn zege van afgelopen zondag in Alta Gracia in de Turismo Carretera Pista en ik hoop deze vuurdoop in het wereldkampioenschap voor toerwagens goed te doorstaan. Ik zal wel wat tijd nodig hebben om te wennen, maar het helpt dat de BMW achterwiel aangedreven is. Ik heb meer ervaring met die vorm van tractie en ik verheug me op komend weekend."
