Chilton naar Sebastien Loeb Racing

Tom Chilton verlaat ROAL Motorsport en verkast naar Sebastien Loeb Racing. Daar zal hij in 2016 samen met Gregoire Demoustier en Mehdi Bennani een trio vormen. De Brit krijgt daardoor een Citroën C-Elysée tot zijn beschikking.

Chilton: "Het wordt een opwindend seizoen en dit is een van de beste stoeltjes op de grid. Het team is nog maar kort actief in het World Touring Car Championship, maar heeft al mooie dingen laten zien. En er zit nog veel meer in het vat. De Citroën C-Elysée is een kampioenschap-winnende auto."

"Dat in combinatie met een professioneel team en dit kan alleen maar goed uitpakken voor mij. Mijn doel is om in de top drie van het kampioenschap te eindigen. Ik heb de afgelopen jaren veel kennis en ervaring opgedaan, die zal ik nu aanspreken om het team aan goede resultaten te helpen."
