BMW domineert warm-up op Zolder, Coronel slechts vijftiende

Andy Priaulx heeft vanochtend de snelste tijd gereden tijdens de warm-up voor de WTCC-race op het circuit van Zolder. De Brit was zijn BMW-teamgenoot Augusto Farfus twee tienden te snel af.

Priaulx en Farfus reden beiden negen ronden en hadden daarmee genoeg om bovenaan de tijdenlijst te eindigen. Priaulx was met zijn 1:39.326 twee tienden sneller dan zijn teamgenoot Farfus. Daarachter reed Jordi Gene als snelste SEAT-coureur naar de derde tijd, maar de Spanjaard gaf wel al een halve seconde toe op de tijd van Priaulx.

Darryl O'Young, die in de vrije trainingen al erg sterk was, kwam tot een zeer goede vierde tijd, vlak voor Yvan Muller en Sergio Hernandez. Tom Coronel kwam in zijn SEAT niet verder dan een vijftiende tijd, terwijl de Belgen Vicent Radermecker en Pierre-Yves Corthals respectievelijk tiende en 21e werden.
