Rob Huff raakt podiumplaats uit tweede race kwijt na straf

Rob Huff heeft kort na de tweede WTCC-race op Portimao zijn derde plaats alweer kunnen inleveren. De Brit werd na afloop van de race bestraft vanwege een botsing met Augusto Farfus.

Huff en Farfus kwamen in zowel de eerste als de tweede race met elkaar in aanraking, maar de wedstrijdleiding heeft besloten om Huff alleen met zijn actie in de tweede race te bestraffen. Hierdoor valt de Britse Chevrolet-coureur terug van de derde naar de vijftiende plaats. Teammaat Alain Menu is nu als derde geklasseerd. Tom Coronel schuift hierdoor op naar de zesde plaats in de tweede race, waardoor de Nederlander nu tweemaal een zesde plaats achter zijn naam heeft staan in Portugal.

Voor zijn incident in de eerste race heeft Huff een waarschuwing gekregen.
