Nick Catsburg is tevreden over zijn ontwikkeling in het World Touring Car Championship. De Nederlander van Lada staat momenteel zevende in het kampioenschap met 139 punten. Hoogtepunt was zijn zege in de tweede race in Rusland.

In Argentinië afgelopen weekend liep het even wat minder, maar over het algemeen is Catsburg content met de gang van zaken. "Ik ben redelijk blij, ik word steeds beter als coureur. Mijn starts zijn de laatste tijd echt goed en we hebben de auto sterk verbeterd de voorbije races."

"Als ik op Termas de Rio Honda als vijfde was gestart, had ik die plek waarschijnlijk wel vast kunnen houden. Nu kwam ik in het gedrang. Ik kijk uit naar Japan om daar het verloren terrein weer goed te maken."
