Guerrieri minstens vijf weekenden voor Campos

Esteban Guerrieri komt komend seizoen bij minimaal de helft van de tien raceweekenden uit in het World Touring Car Championship. De 32-jarige Argentijn heeft zich verzekerd van een stoeltje bij Campos Racing. Hij bestuurt bij de races in Marokko, Italië, Hongarije, Duitsland en Argentinië een Chevrolet Cruze van de Spaanse renstal.

Guerrieri is druk bezig om ook voor de overige vijf weekenden een overeenkomst te sluiten. "Na mijn debuut in eigen land vorig jaar hoopte ik al op een vervolg in het WTCC, dus dit betekent veel voor mij. Ik hou van de competitieve aard en het hoge niveau van deze serie, de wagens zijn heerlijk om te besturen en we racen op een aantal van de mooiste circuits ter wereld, dus het wordt genieten! Ik ken Campos Racing al, ik weet waar ze toe in staat zijn en dit is een geweldige mogelijkheid voor ons als team. De potentie is aanwezig en als we die benutten, liggen er mooie dingen in het verschiet."
