Chevrolet behoudt Muller, Menu en Huff voor volgend seizoen

Chevrolet zal ook in 2011 met haar huidige drie coureurs van start gaan in het WTCC. Het merk bevestigde vandaag dat Yvan Muller, Alain Menu en Rob Huff ook volgend seizoen voor het RML-team zullen racen.

Muller staat momenteel aan de leiding van het kampioenschap, nadat hij begin dit jaar de overstap maakte van SEAT naar Chevrolet. Zijn teamgenoten Menu en Huff rijden al sinds 2005 voor het merk in het WTCC en staat op dit moment respectievelijk zesde en vierde in de tussenstand.

"Stabiliteit is altijd een belangrijk punt geweest in ons WTCC-programma", vertelde Chevrolet Europe-baas Eric Neve. "Het was een logische keuze om door te gaan met onze drie rijders die alledrie geweldig werk verrichten, zowel op als naast de baan. Deze bekendmaking zal het team en de coureurs zeker nog de laatste psychologische boost geven voor de eindfase van het kampioenschap.
