BMW maakt zaterdag toekomstplannen over WTCC wereldkundig

Over drie dagen zal BMW haar plannen voor 2011 bekend maken, zo vertelde Andy Priaulx vandaag. Waarschijnlijk zal het Duitse automerk haar fabrieksteam terugtrekken uit het WTCC om zich zo volledig te richten op de deelname aan de DTM voor 2012.

BMW schroefde het aantal fabrieksauto's voor 2010 al terug naar twee en de kans is zeer reeël dat er in 2011 helemaal geen fabrieks-BMW meer zal deelnemen aan het WTCC. Andy Priaulx, BMW-coureur, vertelde vandaag tijdens de uitreiking van de BMW Sports Trophy dat het merk zaterdag haar plannen bekend zal maken.
