Poulsen Motorsport fuseert met Team Engstler voor 2011

Team Engstler en Poulsen Motorsport hebben de krachten gebundeld voor het seizoen 2011. De twee teams in de Independent-klasse zouden beiden met de 1.6 liter motor gaan rijden en hebben besloten om te fuseren voor komend seizoen.

In 2009 reden Franz Engstler en Kristian Poulsen al samen voor Team Engstler, maar Poulsen besloot voor 2010 een eigen team op te richten. Komend jaar zullen beide heren dus weer samen rijden. "We zijn blij dat we weer opnieuw gaan samenwerken met Kristian en zijn team", vertelde Engstler-teammanager Kurt Treml. "We zijn ervan overtuigd dat we hierdoor genoeg kans hebben om weer voor de Independents-titel te strijden."
