Yvan Muller nipt sneller dan Dahlgren in warm up

Yvan Muller is heer en meester op het circuit in Brno. De Fransman was in alle trainingen en in de kwalificatie de snelste rijder dit weekend en was ook in de warm up niet te stoppen. Robert Dahlgren van Volvo kwam echter dichtbij, maar moest alsnog 0.071 seconden toegeven.

De dominantie van Chevrolet in het WTCC dit seizoen was in de warm up niet duidelijk zichtbaar. Muller reed dan wel naar de snelste tijd, maar teamgenoten Rob Huff en Alain Menu kwam niet verder dan respectievelijk de derde en zesde tijd. Norbert Michelisz zette zijn Independent-SEAT namelijk nog op een knappe vierde plaats en Michel Nykjaer eindigde als tweede privé-coureur als vijfde.

Achter Menu reed Gabriele Tarquini de zevende tijd, gevolgd door Darryl O'Young en Tom Coronel. De Nederlander gaf met zijn negende tijd ruim 1,4 seconden toe op de tijd van Muller. Kristian Poulsen completeerde de top tien.
