Turkington bemachtigt stoeltje bij BMW voor races in Donington

Colin Turkington stapt voor de Britse ronde van het World Touring Car Championship op het circuit van Donington Park in de BMW van Wiechers-Sport. De Noord-Ier neemt in Engeland de honneurs waar voor Stefano D'Aste, die andere verplichtingen heeft.

Turkington: Ik ben verguld met deze mogelijkheid. Het is geweldig om weer te mogen racen voor de Britse fans en het circuit van Donington Park is fantastisch. Ik heb hier vaak namens BMW geracet, maar nooit eerder met de 1,6 liter turbomotor. Ik ben benieuwd hoe die zal presteren en ik heb alle vertrouwen in een sterk optreden.
