Yvan Muller en Robert Dahlgren bovenaan in testsessie

Yvan Muller heeft vanmiddag tijdens de openingssessie op Donington Park de snelste tijd laten noteren. De Fransman was in de testsessie bijna drie tienden sneller dan Volvo-coureur Robert Dahlgren.

Muller en Dahlgren waren de enige twee coureurs die onder de 1:38 doken. Alain Menu en Rob Huff kwamen op de derde en vierde plaatsen ruim zeven tienden tekort op het duo. Tom Coronel was in zijn ROAL BMW goed voor de vijfde tijd, terwijl Gabriele Tarquini op de zesde stek bijna anderhalve seconde tekort kwam.

Javier Villa was met de zevende tijd de beste Independent-rijder, gevolgd door Michel Nykjaer, Colin Turkington en Pepe Oriola op de tiende stek.
