Dahlgren verrast concurrentie met snelste tijd in warm up

Robert Dahlgren heeft zojuist de snelste tijd gereden in de warm up-sessie voor het WTCC in Donington. De Volvo-coureur was ruim vier tienden sneller dan Gabriele Tarquini. Tom Coronel, die de tweede race vanaf de pole mag vertrekken, eindigde als achtste.

De warm up werd op een droog circuit afgewerkt. Daar waren ditmaal de Chevrolet's niet sterker dan de rest. Beste Chevy was Yvan Muller op de vierde plaats, nog achter Colin Turkington. Teamgenoten Rob Huff en Alain Menu volgden als vijfde en zesde. Pepe Oriola en Coronel maakten met een achterstand van negen tienden de top acht compleet.
