SUNRED reserveert ook in 2012 SEAT voor jonge Oriola

Pepe Oriola racet de komende jaargang wederom in het World Touring Car Championship. De 17-jarige Spanjaard krijgt net als vorig seizoen een SEAT van SUNRED Engineering tot zijn beschikking. In 2011 scoorde hij daar elf punten mee.

Oriola: "Ik heb meerdere aanbiedingen gehad, maar ik heb voor een Spaans team gekozen, met het oog op de nieuwe SEAT-motor en een mogelijke rentree van het fabrieksteam van SEAT in 2013. Mijn doel voor 2012 is om te strijden voor de Independents' Trophy, en daarbij kan ik rekenen op het vakkundige advies van mijn manager Sergio Hernandes, tweevoudig winnaar van de Independents' Trophy."
