Tiago Monteiro verlengt contract bij SUNRED Seat

Tiago Monteiro verdedigt ook komend seizoen de eer van SUNRED Seat in het World Touring Car Championship. De Portugees trad in 2007 toe tot het toerwagenkampioenschap en stond sindsdien vijftien keer op het podium. De nieuwe jaargang vangt op 10 maart aan.

Monteiro: "Ik ben verguld met mijn nieuwe contract. Het is een verlenging die vanuit commercieel en competitief oogpunt eigenlijk vrij logisch is. Seat is zeer verbonden aan deze serie, wat wel blijkt uit de significante verbeteringen voor 2012, zoals een nieuwe motor en andere grote ontwikkelingen. Ik wil iedereen bedanken die dit mogelijk heeft gemaakt en ik geloof onverminderd in mijn potentie en boven alles in mijn professionaliteit."
