Felice Tedeschi debuteert in Sonoma voor Proteam

Felice Tedeschi rijdt komend weekend zijn eerste races in het World Touring Car Championship. De 50-jarige coureur is door Proteam opgeroepen voor de wedstrijden op Infineon Raceway.

Proteam zet voor het eerst sinds Marrakech een tweede BMW 320 TC in en reserveert het stoeltje naast Mehdi Bennani voor Tedeschi. De Italiaan schopte het begin jaren negentig tot de Formule 3000, maar zei de eenzitters vaarwel en richtte zich op de toerwagens. Zijn laatste optreden dateert van vorig jaar, in de Superstars Series met een Mercedes C63 AMG.
