O'Young namens Bamboo van de partij bij races in Azië

Darryl O'Young keert voor de drie resterende evenementen in het World Touring Car Championship-seizoen 2012 terug bij Bamboo Engineering. De 32-jarige coureur uit Hong Kong kwam tot nu toe uit voor Special Tuning Racing, maar hij zit in Suzuka, Sjanghai en Macau net als vorig jaar weer in de Chevrolet Cruze van Bamboo.

O'Young: "Ik heb een goede band met dit team en ik heb vertrouwen dat we de draad weer op kunnen pikken. Ik ken de auto en de engineers zijn bekend met mijn rijstijl. Ik krijg een sterke teamgenoot in de persoon van Alex MacDowall, dus alle ingrediënten zijn aanwezig om mijn seizoen voor het Aziatische thuispubliek van een impuls te voorzien. Ik bedank Bamboo voor deze mogelijkheid en ik ga er alles aan doen om successen te boeken."
