Cozzolino nieuwe teamgenoot van Coronel voor Macau

ROAL Motorsport heeft Tom Coronel voor het slotweekend in het World Touring Car Championship opgescheept met een andere teamgenoot. Kei Cozzolino vervangt Alberto Cerqui in de tweede BMW van de Italiaanse renstal.

Cozzolino is geboren en woonachtig in Japan, maar beschikt over de Italiaanse nationaliteit. In 2009 eindigde de 25-jarige coureur als vierde in het Japans Formule 3-kampioenschap. Een jaar later probeerde hij het in de Formule Nippon, zonder succes.

Naast Cozzolino maakt ook Andre Couto in Macau zijn opwachting op de WTCC-grid. De thuisrijder is sinds 2005 een vaste waarde bij de race op het stratencircuit. Alleen in 2007 ontbrak hij. Couto bemant in Macau de Seat Leon waar Tiago Monteiro voor zijn overstap naar Honda in reed.
