Munnich Motorsport schrijft zich in met drie SEAT Leon's

Munnich Motorsport verruilt het FIA GT1-kampioenschap voor het World Touring Car Championship. De Duitse renstal heeft zich voor 2013 ingeschreven met drie SEAT Leon's, voor Rene Munnich, Marc Basseng en Markus Winkelhock.

Teambaas Rene Munnich legt uit: "Na de succesvolle voltooiing van ons FIA GT1-programma waren we op zoek naar een nieuwe uitdaging, en het WTCC biedt die. In Suzuka hebben we vorig jaar al wat wijze lessen geleerd, want de basis voor succes is om je nergens door te laten verrassen. SEAT is de logische partner voor ons en de auto is betrouwbaar en competitief. Het hele team verheugt zich op het aanstaande seizoen."
