Alex MacDowall verlengt bij Bamboo Engineering

Bamboo Engineering huurt ook komend WTCC-seizoen Alex MacDowall in als coureur. De 22-jarige Engelsman was vorig jaar goed voor de elfde positie in de eindstand. James Nash bestuurt de andere Chevrolet Cruze van Bamboo Engineering.

MacDowall: "Het is fantastisch dat ik bij dit team mag blijven en weer in een Chevrolet zal racen. We hebben een geweldig eerste seizoen met elkaar beleefd en volgens mij hebben we aardig gepresteerd. Mijn vertrouwen groeide gedurende het seizoen en met die ervaring denk ik dat we dit jaar voor de Yokohama Trophy kunnen gaan."
