Oriola verzekert zich van opnieuw een seizoen bij Tuenti

Pepe Oriola bestuurt ook dit jaar een SEAT van Tuenti Racing Team in het World Touring Car Championship. De 18-jarige Spanjaard is al toe aan zijn derde seizoen in de toerwagenklasse. Vorig jaar stond hij voor het eerst op het podium en legde hij beslag op plek acht in de eindstand.

Oriola: "Het was een lastige winter, want we hebben moeite moeten doen om sponsoren te vinden om het programma voor dit jaar te financieren. 2013 wordt zwaar, maar ik hoop mezelf verder te verbeteren aan de hand van de ervaring die ik vorig jaar heb opgedaan. Ik ben nog altijd de jongste van het stel, maar de overige deelnemers hebben wel respect voor me. Mijn doelstelling is om in de top zes in het kampioenschap te eindigen."
