Volvo schrijft STCC-kampioen Bjork in voor China

Volvo keert in China terug in het World Touring Car Championship, al is het voorlopig een eenmalig uitstapje. Het Zweedse automerk stelt een C30 beschikbaar aan Thed Bjork, de nieuwe kampioen in het Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.

"We nemen deel om de hartslag van het WTCC te controleren en de titel van Thed in het STCC te vieren", aldus Alexander Murdzevski Schedvin, motorsportbaas bij Volvo Cars. De C30 van Bjork is dezelfde auto waarmee Robert Dahlgren in 2011 een volledig seizoen in het WTCC actief was.
